About DomAPI
DomAPI is a DHTML library dedicated to working with 5.x or better browsers only.
The 4.x browsers are now a thing of the past. By dropping support for this legacy
code, we are allowed the chance to start over with a clean slate. All of the
little browser work-arounds that weighed down previous DHTML libraries are simply
no longer necessary in the current offerings from Microsoft, Netscape, Opera
and Apple.
As of last month, over 96% of the browsers in use out there
are 5.0 or better, with the vast majority running on Windows -

By concentrating on these DOM compliant browsers only, the resultant API is much smaller and faster than its predecessors.
